Do you charge a call-out fee or after-hours rate?
During business hours we quote a fixed price with no separate call-out fee - the price you're told is the price you pay. After-hours and weekend emergency callouts carry a higher rate, which we always tell you before we're dispatched, never after.
Do you issue a gas compliance certificate?
Yes. All gas work is carried out by a gas-authorised fitter and a Gas Compliance Certificate is issued on completion, as required in WA. You'll need it for insurance, and we lodge and hand it over every time.
What warranty do I get?
Every repair carries a written workmanship warranty, and installed hot water units, taps and fixtures keep their full manufacturer warranty on top. We register the product warranty for you so you're covered if anything fails.
How do I pay, and when?
Payment is on completion once you're happy with the work. We take card, bank transfer and cash, and can send a tax invoice the same day. No deposit on standard call-out jobs.
Is it a real emergency line, or a message bank?
It's a real line. Burst pipes, gas leaks and no hot water in winter don't wait for business hours, so a licensed plumber answers 24/7. If you can smell gas, leave the property and call us from outside.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes - licensed plumber (PL1234 - demo number), gas authorised, and fully insured with public liability cover. A certificate of currency is available on request before the first job.
