We fit it on you in the studio, and keep fitting until it sits right.

Silvereye is a made-to-measure atelier on Pakenham Street. Four collections a year, patterns drafted to the person rather than graded from a block, and every finish worked by hand. From first sketch to final press takes about six months, and most of that is fittings.

Every hem is rolled and stitched by hand. It takes a day.

Fittings

A first fitting takes ninety minutes.

Bring whoever you want with you. There is no obligation to order, nothing is charged for the first appointment, and we will tell you honestly if what you want is better made by someone else.

What it costs

Made-to-measure gowns begin at $4,800.

Separates from $1,900.

We quote in full before anything is cut, and take no deposit at a first fitting.
