Refund & Cancellation Policy

SEO & AI visibility audit

The audit is $600, paid once by card at the time of purchase. It is bought without speaking to us first, so the terms are set out here in full rather than agreed per project.

We acknowledge your purchase by email within one business day (AWST) and confirm the site we are auditing. Work starts at that acknowledgement. We deliver the written audit within five business days of it.

Before work starts, you get the full $600 back on request, no reason needed. Email us any time before that acknowledgement, or reply to it, and we refund the card you paid with. Refunds usually reach your statement within five to ten business days, depending on your bank.

Once the audit has been delivered we do not refund it, because the whole of what you bought has been handed over and cannot be returned. If we cancel before delivering, or cannot audit the site you gave us, we refund in full. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply regardless - see below.

Site refresh

The site refresh is $999, paid once by card when you accept the agreement we prepare for you. The terms you accept on that page govern the work; this is the refund half of them.

We acknowledge your purchase by email within one business day (AWST). Work starts at that acknowledgement.

Before work starts, you get the full $999 back on request, no reason needed. Email us any time before that acknowledgement, or reply to it.

After we start and before you approve the design, we refund the price less the work done to that point, and we tell you that figure before we process it. Once the approved design is live on your site we do not refund it, because the whole of what you bought has been handed over. If we cancel, or find we cannot do the work on your site, we refund in full. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply regardless - see below.

Monthly care plan

The care plan is billed monthly with no lock-in contract. You can cancel at any time, with 30 days' notice, by emailing hello@solaisoft.com.

Cancellation takes effect 30 days after your email reaches us (from the next business day). Your last charge is the one before that date. You retain full ownership of your site regardless of cancellation.

We do not offer partial-month refunds on the care plan.

Ongoing search and AI-visibility plan

Paid monthly, the plan has no minimum term. You can cancel at any time with 30 days' notice, and we do not refund part of a month.

A prepaid 6- or 12-month term is one payment for the whole term. If you cancel during a prepaid term, it does not renew. The plan runs, with everything in it, to the end of the term, and unused months are not refunded.

One-off builds

Each build project is quoted at a fixed price agreed in writing before work begins, and invoiced in two halves: 50% on signing, 50% before the site goes live. Your quote states both amounts.

You can cancel any time before we start and we refund the deposit in full.

Once work has started the deposit is not refundable, and if you cancel partway you may owe for work completed beyond it. Your project agreement sets out the scope and the stages, so what has been completed at any point is a matter of record rather than an argument.

Consulting

Consulting engagements are scoped and priced per project. Cancellation and refund terms will be stated in the relevant quote or agreement.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any right or remedy available to you under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)), including consumer guarantee protections.
